The 2 PLUS Classic is a one bedroom prefabricated dwelling manufactured by Freedomky in the Czech Republic. Measuring just 42.4 m2 (465 ft2), the 2 PLUS Classic is available with a choice of two different floor plans and with a variety of options and finishes. Other models are available as well, and they can be joined to form larger homes if desired.
The 2 PLUS Classic was designed by architect Marek Štěpán. With such limited space, the layouts were designed for efficiency and include an abundance of built-in storage, giving the house a cozy boat-like feel.
Anticipating that many buyers will use it as a vacation home, Štěpán designed the deck to fold up as a security shutter over the patio doors when the home is not occupied. Freedomky offers several options that make it easy for customers to use the 2 PLUS Classic off-grid. It can be ordered with a wood stove and roof-mounted solar water heater and photo-voltaic panels pre-installed.
This small prefab dwelling seems to have everything that a single person or couple would need to live comfortably. Could you live full-time in this home? Give us your thoughts in the comments!

This would be perfect as a vacation home on some property. It looks really custom made though which usually equals $$$. With a yurt outside for an art studio I could totally live here with my hubby.

Hi Krislyn, I agree, a perfect vacation home. They only have a price list on the Czech version of their site. As far as I can make out, they are selling their display home for about 60,000 Euros, which equals about US$74,000. It seems like they have replaced the 2 PLUS model with the M model, which is a bit longer to accommodate a bigger bathroom. The basic model M, which includes the bathroom but no kitchen or other built-ins, is priced at 39,000 Euros or US$48,500, roughly US$95 / ft2. Thanks for your comment!

Sounds a bit too steep for my cash…I could build more for less. Other than that,if it were 2 BD (I have two kids),I could live there. Actually, got some good ideas for the building of my own small house soon
