Very slick example of modern architecture on a small footprint. It would be interesting to know some of the operating efficiency details (insulation materials and techniques, R values, energy requirements and use of alt energy) and specific ways to reproduce dwelling using less expensive materials.
In essence, how can you deconstruct the components and design/erect an “affordable” (ie $150 -$200 a SF or less) dwelling. The floor plan and elevations are exceptional.
beautiful. I would not be able to live with so many stairs and the design of the stairs makes it impossible to install the elevator chairs. I also do not see a place to add an elevator. I wish the owner the good health so she will always be able to easily climb stairs as she ages. Having built this wonderful house I would never want to leave it.
