Here’s a cute little cottage currently for sale in Denmark. It is located on Bogø, a small island with just one village but which is connected by bridges to the rest of the country.

The cottage has 46 m2 (495 ft2) of floor space plus a porch that was enclosed and turned into a sunroom at some point. Despite the tiny size, it manages to squeeze in two bedrooms, although one is extremely small. It is barely big enough to hold a bed and some might consider it more of a walk-in closet, but it would function quite well as a nursery or a home office.

The main living area, however, seems spacious enough. The open-plan design with L-shaped kitchen allows the cooking, dining and sitting areas to borrow space from one another. Light finishes help too along with plenty of daylight entering through windows on three sides. The sunroom provides another option for living and dining space, as does the wood deck immersed in the greenery of the cottage’s small garden.

The bathroom is a bit narrower than most but a pedestal sink compensates by taking up less floor space than a vanity would. With no room for a regular tub, there is a large shower instead.

The cottage is listed through EDC with an asking price is 550,000 Danish kroner, or roughly US$83,000.

When looking at the floor plan, note that the entry porch and even the entrance door were left off. They should be at the top of the floor plan, next to the bathroom. Have a nice weekend!
