When I was first ‘disabled:’ No income, small savings, awaiting the government “dole” and living in a one room with a bath.. I realized that small was not just Ok, but particularly something I could do. I wanted to think of ownership; not just ‘renting.’ The thought of a diminished income, mad me feel as if owning, would never be an option. I wish to live alone. I might have more books, eat in a bigger kitchen area, but that would be my choice.
