Yup, nice workmanship but would anyone really like to have to get out of bed @ 4AM and walk outside to an outhouse? I hope my comments are not offensive. Its a lovel weekend cottage though with a few improvements!

We keep our clothes in storage trunks in the loft and jackets on clothes hooks on the lower level.
And so far we don’t mind the outhouse. Lots of cottages in the area have outhouses. And in case we do have to get up at 4am, it’s incredible how many stars you can see. 😉 Srsly, though. It’s not been an issue for us and those that visit don’t seem to mind, either.

Heat? It can get quite cold in early spring / late fall (and even in August)
