Flake House | OLGGA Architects
It’s Friday and time for a bit of weekend fun. And this is a fun little project, a tiny shed-roofed retreat built to resemble a stack of logs that has been snapped in half. Consider it post-modern log cabin.
French firm OLGGA Architects designed the 22 m2 (237 ft2) Flake House to be easily transported by truck. The larger piece is used for relaxation and sleeping. The floor plans show a bathroom and kitchenette in the smaller piece, but they don’t seem to have been installed yet when these photos were taken. The inside is finished with wood too but the smooth finish contrasts with the rustic exterior.
Enjoy the photos and have a good weekend!
